Pierre is running for Austin City Council to build stronger communities. As the son of Vietnamese refugees, he knows firsthand the importance of collective culture. He has dedicated his life to service as a firefighter, EMT, and Coast Guardsman and works with AmeriCorps and various nonprofits.
Pierre's campaign is rooted in values that make Austin great: Equity, Justice, Civic Engagement, Courage & Compassion, and Social Connection. He's dedicated to representing all members of his constituency, with a focused effort on uplifting underserved and marginalized communities.
Pierre takes a holistic approach to community support. He believes that in order to effectively assist individuals and families, we must address all aspects of concern. To Pierre, paying attention to the physical, mental, and social health of his community is key to improving their lives.
